  • Raising the bar for RAG excellence: introducing generative query rewriting and new ranking model
    • Generative Query Rewriteと新しいSemantic Rankerがでました。
    • Generative Query Rewriteは低レイテンシ―に微調整した内蔵SLMを使って最大10個のクエリを変換する機能。Semantic Rankerに追加費用なしで含まれる感じ。
    • 新しいSemantic Rankerは以前のモデルに比べて最大2.3倍のレイテンシー、回答やキャプションなども新しいモデルが適用。設定変更不要で11月19日から自動アップグレード。
  • Prep your Data for RAG with Azure AI Search: Content Layout, Markdown Parsing & Improved Security
    • AI SearchのパイプラインでManaged IdentitiesとPrivate Endpointsサポート、AI Document Intelligenceを使ったDocument Layout対応などがきました。2024-11-01-previewなAPIで対応。
    • Document Intelligenceをベースに使ってチャンクするけど、Markdownで分割されたそれぞれのコンテンツに分割前のH1ヘッダを付与したりとか、チャンク毎で意味ができるだけ分離しないようにしたりできるっぽい。
    • 組み込みAIスキルのMarkdown解析とかよさそう。

  • What’s new in Microsoft’s Security Service Edge solution
    • Entra Private AccessでApp DiscoveryやPrivate DNS機能がPreviewになったり、AWSやGoogle Cloud Marketplaceで使えるコネクターを使ってプライベートネットワークコネクタを簡単にデプロイしたり。
    • Internet AccessのほうはUniversal CAEサポートで攻撃の可能性のあるセッションリスクが増加したときにほぼリアルタイムでネットワークアクセスを取り消したりできる機能がPreviewとか、TLSインスペクションがきたり。
  • Ignite: AI and SASE innovations in Microsoft Entra
    • Security CopilotもEntraに来ました（Preview）。
    • 他にもID Protectionでパスワードスプレー攻撃のリアルタイム検出と保護など。

  • Introducing the Microsoft 365 Agents SDK
    • Microsoft 365 Agents SDKがPreview。C#サポートからスタートで近日中にNodeJSとPythonがリリース。Azure AI Foundryなど任意のAIサービスを使うエージェントを構築できます。Semantic Kernelなどのオーケストレーションレイヤーを使ってWebやMicrosoft Teams、Microsoft 365 Copilotといったチャネルへデプロイ。
    • Copilot Studioとの相互運用性も提供。既存のエージェントのスキルを使った機能追加や拡張のほかにコード内からCopilot Studioエージェントに接続する方法も。
    • Microsoft Bot Frameworkの進化形だそうで。
