- というわけでSQL Server 2017が10月2日にGAです。Linux/Windowsで動作しますしDockerコンテナーでも動きます。RHELもOKぽいですね。
App Service
- Announcing general availability of the new App Service Premium Plan
- Premium Plan v2がGAです。Dv2で動いてることが明記されてますね。
Azure Functions
- Azure #CosmosDB – database for serverless era
- Cosmos DBのトリガーを基にFunctionsを発火できるようになりました。
- Serverless for all developers: bringing Azure Functions to Linux, Mac, planet scale NoSQL, real-time analytics, and productivity apps
- Cosmos DBのトリガーのほか、Microsoft Graphバインディングもサポートされました。OneDriveのほかにExcel Online、Outlook Onlineといったサービスとの連携も楽になりますね。
- それからApplication Insightによる監視もGAです。またStream Analyticsとの連携もサポートされました。（Stream Analyticsの項を参照）
- Develop Azure Functions on any platform
- Azure Functionsが .NET Core 2.0 に移植されました。
- ランタイムツール、Azure Functionsのコアツールどちらもクロスプラットフォームになりました。

- ホストのメンテなどによるVMのメンテをある程度プランニングできる機能ですね。
- メンテの時間を調整したりできます。
しれっとFv2とか追加されてたりします。Nシリーズの新しいものについてはアナウンス済みですね。- あとまだきてない（Coming Soon）ですが、Reserved Virtual Machine Instancesも発表されました。

- SQL DatabaseおよびオンプレのSQL Server用にSQL脆弱性評価の機能が増えました。SSMS経由でも評価できます。
- ベースラインからの変化も報告できるようなので、定期的に評価して安全に保つようにするといいですね。

Azure Networking / Virtual Network

- SQL DatabaseとAzure StorageがVNETで閉じれるようになりました。今までインターネットに一度出ていましたけど、でなくなります。

- 新しいSKUですね。
- Standardを使うとバックエンドプールに全VMをいれられます。1つの可用性セットという縛りがなくなります。
- Azure Monitorによる分析が利用できるほか、AZなどとの併用、HAポート（後述）を使ったL4ポートと無関係なTCP/UDPフローのLBや高速フェールオーバー、新しいアウトバウンドのSNAT接続のモデルなどなど。

Azure Traffic Manager
- Real User Measurements がでました。（Preview）
- ページにJavaScriptを埋め込むことでリアルなユーザーの測定ができるようです。
- Traffic Viewがでました。（Preview）
- ユーザーがどこにいるかとか地域からのトラフィック量や待ち時間、トラフィックパターンなどを見たり知ることができるようです。
Cognitive Services
- At Ignite, Microsoft is updating its Cognitive Services collection of intelligent APIs
- Text Analytics API が GAです。
- Bing Custom Search API が GA です。Bing Search APIs v7は10月にGAするみたいですね。
- LUISとMicrosoft Bot Frameworkは年内にGAするぽい。
- QnAMakerは新しいAPIがPreview。
- Face API/Computer Vision API/Content Moderatiorについては7リージョン追加です。（日本はない）
Azure Machine Learning

Azure Data Box (Limited Preview)
- Azure Data Box Preview
- Azure Data Boxはデータを安全にAzureにインポート（Upload）するためのサービスです。Azure Import/ExportのImport部分をData Boxという物理的な箱に入れて行うという感じですね。
- Data BoxそのものがネットワークにつながってSMB/CIFSなどでデータを放り込めるようです。中身はAES-256で暗号化。
- 今は100TBまでOKなのかな？

Azure File Sync (Preview)

- Windows Serverのファイル共有などとAzure Filesを同期するためのサービスです。（Preview）
- マルチマスターで同期。同期グループ作って複数のクラウドのエンドポイントやオンプレなWindows Serverのサーバーエンドポイントを指定して同期できます。
Azure Migrate (Preview)
- Announcing Azure Migrate
- VMやDatabaseをまとめてAzureに移行するためのサービスです。Database部分はAzure Database Migration Serviceですね。内包してます。
- アプリケーション（VM）の依存関係洗い出してマッピングしてくれたりします。
Azure Stream Analytics
- New in Stream Analytics: Output to Azure Functions, built-in anomaly detection, etc.
- Output先としてAzure Functionsが使えたりします。
- あと組み込みの機械学習に基づいて異常検出したり。
- Gzip・Deflateストリームサポート。
- Stream Analytics Visual Studio ToolsやNuGetパッケージを使ったCI/CDサポート。
- 時間加重平均、累積密度、配列累積などのユーザー定義集計（UDA）サポートなどなど。
HDInsight
- OMS統合がPreviewです。
Azure IoT Suite

- 事前設定済みのソリューションの新しい版の話。リモートモニタリングとかもあるみたい。
Azure Security Center
- OMS customers can now use Azure Security Center to protect their hybrid cloud workloads
- VMの保護やパッチ・Updateの管理など細かいところで良い機能Updateが多いです。
Azure Policy (Preview)
- Azure Security Centerに関連しますが、Azure Policyが増えました。

- 基本的にはリソースポリシーみたいな感じですね。
Azure DDoS Protection
- Azure DDoS Protection Service preview
- 名前の通りDDoSを防いでくれるサービスです。Azure標準でもだいぶ防いでくれてますが、特定リソースに対して追加のDDoS防止策を行ってくれる感じです。
- SKUがBasicとStandardがあり機能差があります。共通なのはモニタリング、L3/L4アタックの自動復帰、Application GatewayのWAFと組み合わせたL7防護、グローバルにデプロイですね。StandardはさらにVNETに対しての保護ポリシー、テレメトリやアラート、ロギング、リソースコストスケール保護（まだ使えないかも）などです。
- 今のところEast US、West Central US、West USだけみたい。
Azure Monitor
- End-to-end monitoring solutions in Azure for Apps and Infrastructure
- ポータルのUpdateやほぼリアルタイムなアラート、System Center Service Manager、Service Now、ProvanceまたはCherwellといったツールとの統合、Application InsightとLog Analyticsで使えるクエリとワークスペース、Container Monitoring SolutionによるKubernetes環境のモニタリングサポート、Service Fabric on Linuxサポートなど細かいUpdateが多数です。
