今週は新しいOSS周りのアナウンスが多かった印象。どうなることやら。
App Service / Azure Functions
- Key Vault references in App Service and Azure Functions are now available
- App Service / FunctionsでKey Vault参照がGA。アプリケーション設定の一部として利用できるようになったのでだいぶ楽かな？
- LinuxなFunctionsのConsumption Planは近日中で他のホスティングプランはGA。
- App Service と Azure Functions の Key Vault 参照を使用する (プレビュー)
Virtual Machines
- Performance-optimized storage configuration for SQL Server on Azure Virtual Machines
- Azure VM上で動作するSQL Serverを構成する際にパフォーマンス最適化ストレージ構成を自動化できるようになりました。Premium SSDでキャッシュ、データとログファイルの分離、ローカルディスク上でTemp DB、Ultra Disksのサポートなどなど。
Service Fabric
- Azure Service Fabric 6.5 Fifth Refresh Release
- Service Fabric 6.5 5th Refreshリリース。
SQL Database
- Service-aided subnet configuration for managed instance in Azure SQL Database is now in preview
- Managed Instances向けService-aided サブネット構成がPreview。
- Service-aided subnet configuration (public preview in East US and West US)
- 専用サブネットに展開することでNSGやらなんやらの手間を減らすことができるのかな？
Azure Analysis Services
- Azure Analysis Services QPU AutoScale is now available
- QPUのオートスケールが利用可能になりました。
Azure Data Factory
- Execute Azure Machine Learning service pipelines in Azure Data Factory pipelines
- Data FactoryのPipelinesのステップでAzure Machine Learning Serviceのパイプラインを実行できるようになりました。

- Azure Site Recovery—Updates for Windows servicing stack and SHA-2
- VM/VMwareのVM、物理サーバーのディザスタリカバリーを有効にするのにWindowsサービススタックにSHA-2が必要という話。古いWindowsの場合の話かな。
Azure Monitor
- Azure Monitor adds Worker Service SDK, new ASP.NET core metrics
- Application InsightsというかAzure MonitorのWorker Service SDKが更新されました。.NET Core 3.0サポートのほかいろいろ。
- OMS Agent for Linux October release is now available
- Upcoming changes for Service Map data stored in Log Analytics
- Service MapのLog Analytics内の保管場所が専用データテーブルに移動するようです。（11月に完了かな）
- たぶん関連：Azure Monitor log analytics ingestion service undergoing maintenance from October 14 – 25 … Log AnalyticsのIngestion Serviceが10月14～25日でメンテするようです（影響はないらしい）
- Updates to Azure Monitor for virtual machines (preview) before general availability release
- Azure Monitor updates—Containers for China regions, Grafana dashboard template, Agent
- Azure Monitor for ContainersでPodアノテーション設定をサポート。GrafanaダッシュボードテンプレートでAzure Monitor for Containersで収集したメトリックをすぐ使えるようになったとかいろいろ。
- Variable retention for Azure Monitor Application Insights is now generally available
- Application Inishgtsの可変データ保持がGAです。データ保持期間をデフォルト90日から30～730日（好きな日数ではなく一覧から選ぶ）にできます。90日以上保持するデータはLog Analyticsと同じレートで課金（12月からかな）。
Azure Advisor
- Azure Advisor cost recommendation enhancements
- コスト関連の推奨が拡張されました。メモリやCPUの利用状況を見てVMのサイズ変更（特にコスト削減なので減らすほう）を推奨してくれたりとか。
Azure Active Directory
- 16 new built-in roles—including Global reader—now available in preview
- Use new Azure Active Directory roles to reduce the number of Global administrators
- Global Readerを含む16の新しい組み込みロールが利用可能に（Preview）。
- Global Readerはグローバル管理者の読み取り専用版。その他利用できるようになったロールはBlogを参照。
Power BI
- Power BI Desktop October 2019 Feature Summary

Power Platform / PowerApps
- PowerApps Portals are now Generally Available
- PowerAppsポータルがGAです。
- Add-on allocation for Microsoft Flow, PowerApps, and AI Builder is now available

- Introducing new Azure Resource Graph functionality – Track changes to your resource properties
- Azureリソースの情報をみれるAzure Resource Graphで変更の全体がどういうアクションだったかのchangeTypeが含まれるようになったりfetchPropertyChangesをTrueにすると本文に変更前後のプロパティと値、変更タイプなどが返るようになりました。

- Android/iOS/macOS向けのMSAL（Microsoft Authentication Library）がGA。

- Dapr（ダプラかな）というOSS。マイクロサービスをいろんな言語やFunctionsを動かすためのプラットフォームでサイドカーやPub/sub、Virtual Actor、分散トレーシングなどマイクロサービスで使う機能を盛り込んだプラットフォームかな。Daprの実行環境はk8sやクラウド、Edgeなどで動く模様。

- Open Application Model（OAM）をMS、Alibaba、Open Web Foundationで作ったという話。プラットフォーム非依存のアプリケーションを記述するための仕様かな。
