Virtual Machines / Virtual Machine Scale Sets

• New maintenance control features
• 新しいメンテナンスコントロール機能がPreviewです。再起動無しアップデートを含むすべてのホストアップデートを最大35日間制御可能。（Dedicated HostかIsolated向けはGAしてるけど、それ以外でも利用できるPreviewということかな？）

SQL Database

• What’s new in Azure SQL Managed Instance at Ignite 2020
• Announcing major performance improvements for Azure SQL Database Managed Instances
• Managed Instanceのパフォーマンスが向上。Perf v2．
• グローバルVNETピアリングもGAなど。
• 複数Managed Instanceで分散トランザクションもPreviewでもうすぐ来るようです。

Azure Synapse Analytics

• COPY command now generally available in Azure Synapse Analytics
• COPYコマンドがGA。
• New MERGE command for Azure Synapse Analytics
• 新しいMERGEコマンドはPreviewです。
• Column-level encryption for Azure Synapse Analytics
• カラムレベルの暗号化がPreviewです。DECRYPTBYKEY関数使って復号するまでの間、ディスク上およびメモリ内でも該当列は暗号化されたまま。

• 上記のUpdate＋これまでの細々＋αまとめという感じ。

Cosmos DB

• Ignite 2020: New serverless and analytics capabilities announced
• Cosmos DB Serverlessが全部のAPI（MongoDBやCassandra、Gremlin、Table、Core SQL）でも利用可能に。
• Azure Synapse Linkを使ったT_SQLクエリとリアルタイムBIダッシュボードもでました。
• Use Power BI and Synapse SQL serverless to analyze Azure Cosmos DB data with Synapse Link (preview)
• Azure Synapse LinkでCosmos DBのMongo DB APIがサポート。

• エラーメッセージが人間に優しくなったとか依存関係の解決が簡単になったとかCLIのコンテキスト情報を維持する（複数コマンド投げるときに繰り返し同じパラメータを指定しなくても済む）とかいろいろ。
• パラメータ省略できる機能は若干不安もあるけど記述が少なくていいですね。
• –query-examples を使うとJSON弄るためのクエリのサンプルが見れるぞ！（便利だ…）
