App Service

• Community support for Python 3.6 is ending on 23 December 2021
  • Python 3.6サポートは2021年12月23日まで。

Virtual Machines

• Azure Image Builder Service now generally available
  • Image BuilderがGA。イマイチきちんとGAしたかあやしい。。
  • 既存のカスタムイメージにパッチ適用やAzure/Azure Stackのハイブリッドイメージ、Azure DevOps統合、WVDのイメージ作成サポートとかVNET接続などなども？
• The G5 and GS5 Azure VMs will no longer be hardware-isolated on 28 February 2022
  • 2022年2月末以降、G5/GS5なVMはハードウェア分離がされなくなります（Isolatedな保証が無くなる）
  • ハードウェア分離が欲しい人はDedicated Hostに移行するなりしましょう。またはE80idsV4とかに移行。（E80ids_v4/E80is_v4はハードウェア分離されてるらしい。Instance is isolated to hardware dedicated to a single customer.だそう。）
  • またGS5はSAP HANAの認定もなくなるぽい。
  • The GS5 Azure Virtual Machines will no longer be SAP HANA Certified on 28 February 2022 
  • E64i_v3/E64is_v3もハードウェア分離が同じタイミングでなくなります。
  • The E64i_v3 & E64is_v3 Azure VMs will not be hardware-isolated on 28 February 2022
  • G5でたの6年前とかだしスペックも古い感じだし占有させるの止めようっていうのはしょうがないかもですね。

• AKS-HCI Now Supports Strong Authentication Using Active Directory Credentials
  • Azure Stack HCI上のAKS（略してAKS-HCIらしい？）でActive Directory資格情報を使った強力な認証がサポート。Azure ADを使う場合はAzure Arc統合経由っぽい。なおPreviewのもよう。Kerberos認証使う感じですかね（KubernetesとKerberosってTypoしそう）

• AKS legacy Azure AD integration will be retired on 29 February 2024
  • レガシーなAzure AD統合が2024年2末でリタイア。移行しておきましょう。

• Azure Batch ‘CloudServiceConfiguration’ pools will be retired on 29 February 2024

  • VirtualMachineConfigurationに移行しときましょう。
• Running Nextflow Data Pipelines on Azure Batch
  • Nextflow Workflow ManagerがAzure Batchをサポートしたらしい。
• Azure Batch rendering VM images & licensing will be retired on 29 February 2024
  • Batch RenderingのVMイメージとその有料アプリのライセンスが2024年2末以降は利用不可に。Batchプールの作成もできなくなります。
• Azure Batch Transcription and Customization Rest API v2 will be retired by 29 February 2024
  • Transcription and Customization REST API v3でてるのでv2は2024年2末で廃止。

  • 11月11日にAzure Database for PostgreSQLのPostgreSQL 9.6サポートが終了。それまでにv11に移行しましょう。（コミュニティサポートも終了するので）

Azure Analysis Services

• Earlier versions of Analysis Services client libraries will retire on 30 June 2021
  • 6末で古いクライアントライブラリがサポートされなくなります。更新しましょう。

Azure Data Factory / Azure Synapse Analytics

    • Standard/Premiumどちらでもカスタムドメインに対してTLS証明書を提供。有効期限の心配不要とかもできるらしい。Key Vaultでカスタム証明書もOK。
    • Private Linkとの統合もできるようになりました。OriginはPrivateでパブリックなIPアドレス不要。Front Door経由でStorageやApp Service、Private Linkと統合するPaaSやIaaSなどを公開できます。
