App Service

• Name Reservation on Azure App Service
  • App ServiceとApp Service Environmentでサブドメインテイクオーバーに対抗できるように名前の予約機能を展開中。11月14日～12月15日で展開するらしい。
  • 特に何か操作が必要なのではないようです。App Serviceのリソース削除後、一定期間のクールダウン期間中は同じ名前でリソース作れませんが、同一Azure ADテナント内だと同じ名前で再作成がOKになるようです。

Azure Functions

  • SQL Change Trackingを使ったSQLトリガーがPreview。

Virtual Machines

• Generally available: Encrypt managed disks with cross-tenant customer-managed keys
  • Managed Disksの暗号化にテナント間に跨ったKey Vault上の顧客管理キーを使えたりする機能がGA。
• Do more with less using new Azure HX and HBv4 virtual machines for HPC
  • HPC向けな感じのAzure HXと新しいVM SKU、HBv4がでました。
  • 第4世代AMD EPYCやGenoa-X、800GB/sなDDR5メモリ帯域や400GB/sなNVIDIA Quantum-2 CX7 InfiniBand、80GBpsなAzure Accelerated Networkなどなど。
  • Azure HXは3/4/5ナノメートルプロセッサらし。L3キャッシュが768MB。以前のHシリーズより3倍のRAMやコアあたり60GB近いRAMなど、コア数とメモリの組み合わせがいろいろ選べたり。
