Virtual Machines

• Microsoft and Canonical Increase Velocity with Azure Tailored Kernel
• RDMAやInfiniband、Accelerated Networking、SR-IOVなどにネイティブで対応した（Azure対応な）Ubuntuがでました。カーネルサイズの軽量化なども含んでるようですね。
• Introducing Azure Availability Zones for resiliency and high availability
• Availability Zones （AZ）（Preview）がきました。
• 回復性と高可用性のためのAzure Availability Zonesを導入 (Introducing Azure Availability Zones for resiliency and high availability)
• Azure Availability Zones (可用性ゾーン/アベイラビリティゾーン) のプレビュー開始
• 概要はデプロイ王子が話してくれてるので、こちらがわかりやすいかと。 Azureに登場した「アベイラビリティ・ゾーン」とは
• 「Availability Zones（AZ、可用性ゾーン）とは、1つのリージョン内で、電源、冷却設備、ネットワークなどのハードウェアが分離されたロケーションのこと」

Azure Storage

• Support for blob storage lease management from the Azure portal
• ポータル上でBlobのリースの管理ができるようになりました。
• On-premises Azure Files access on Linux update and new troubleshooter
• Linux用にAzFileDiagnosticsの提供とAzure Files用のモジュールのアップデートです。
• あと暗号化に対応したLinux CIFSの提供など。

SQL Data Warehouse

• Loading (n)varchar(max) into Azure SQL Data Warehouse with external tables
• 外部テーブルでvarchar/nvarchar(max)な列をロードできるようになりました。（前も書いた感じが…）

Azure Analysis Services

• September updates to the Azure Analysis Services web designer
• ポータル上のWebデザイナーのUpdate。

Azure IoT Hub

• Route IoT device messages to Azure Storage with Azure IoT Hub
• 新しいカスタムエンドポイントとしてAzure Storageコンテナー（Blob）がサポートされました。
• メッセージをBlobに放り込んだり（ルーティングしたり）してくれます。

Operations Management Suite

• View Designer and Workspace Settings coming to Azure
• Azureポータル上でOMSのビューデザイナとワークスペース設定が表示されるようになりました。

Azure Cloud Shell

• Azure Cloud Shell: New CLI tools added and font-size selection
• フォントサイズの変更やAzCopy、Kubernetes Helm、Terraformといったツールの提供が含まれています。

Regions

• Azure Analysis Services now available in Azure Government
• Azure’s IoT Hub global expansion: Newly available in 8 regions
