気付いたら10月も終わりそうだ…Managed Kubernetes来ましたね。

Virtual Machines

• Fv2 VMs are now available, the fastest VMs on Azure
• Fv2がきました。コンピューティング特化なワークロードに最適だそうで。今はまだWest Europe、East USのみで東南アジアはもうすぐだそうです。

SQL Database

• Transactional replication to Azure SQL Database is now generally available
• トランザクションベースなレプリケーションがGAです。

SQL Data Warehouse

• Public preview: Twice the performance and unlimited columnar storage with SQL Data Warehouse
• コンピュート最適化層なプランがでました。（Preview）
• 無制限ストレージ、スループット2倍、計算能力5倍とかいろいろ。
• Faster compute optimized performance tier for Azure SQL Data Warehouse
• 最大DW30000cだって

Azure Container Service

• Introducing AKS (managed Kubernetes) and Azure Container Registry improvements
• マネージドKubernetesの利用料を無料に。Kubernetes専用の新コンテナサービス「AKS」（Azure Container Service）、マイクロソフトが発表
• Microsoft、マネージドKubernetesサービス「AKS」のプレビュー版を発表
• AKS (マネージドKubernetes) とAzure Container Registryの改善 (Introducing AKS (managed Kubernetes) and Azure Container Registry improvements)
• Container Orchestration Simplified with Managed Kubernetes in Azure Container Service (AKS)
• というわけでManagedなKubernetesサービスがでました。今までのACSでクラスターのマスターも作成していたのが不要（Azure側で提供）されることになり、スケーリング（ノードの増減）やコンテナー部分だけ気にすればざっくりいい感じです。名称もAzure Container Service (AKS)です。料金はマスター分は無料（Azure側で提供）、ノード分のVMサイズ料金とManaged Disks分の料金となります。（クラスター管理を自前でする以前のACSと違いManaged Disksも使えますしクラスター管理部分がManagedになるのがいいですね）

Azure Container Registry

• Geo-replication in Azure Container Registry
• Container RegistryでGeoレプリケーションがサポートされました。
• Azure Container Registry Geo-replication (ch.9)
• ※もはやいつからなのかわからん
• 他にもAKSとあわせてBasic/Standard/PremiumなプランもGAです。

Service Bus

• Metrics in Azure Monitor (preview) released
• Azure Monitor内でメトリクスがサポートされました。（Preview）

Azure Batch

• Announcing the Data Science Virtual Machine in Batch AI Service
• Data ScienceなVMをBatch AI Serviceで使える話。カスタムイメージ使えるようになりましたしね。

Azure Automation

• Public preview: Python 2 support and Hybrid Runbook Workers for Linux
• Hybrid Runbook for LinuxでPython2がサポートされました（Preview）

Azure Site Recovery

• One-click replication for Azure Virtual Machines with Azure Site Recovery
• 1クリックでAzure VMsのレプリケーションができるようになりました。

Azure Data Lake

• Continuous integration made easy with MSBuild support for U-SQL (preview)
• MSBuildでU-SQLがビルドできるようになりました（Preview）CIもいけますね。
• Simple database copies with the Azure Data Lake Database Export Wizard
• Visual StudioのCloud ExplorerからData LakeのU-SQL DBをエクスポートできるようになりました。

Azure Data Factory

• Azure Data Factory V2: visual monitoring added to public preview

Azure Active Directory

• 条件付きアクセスポリシーの新しいの(v2.0)に移行しましょうという話。古いのはクラシックポータルでのみ管理できるようで、11末にはクラシックポータルでの管理ができなくなる予定なので移行しましょうということかな。

• Azure Information Protection scannerというのがPreviewです。こちらも参考。

• Updates on Intel Xeon Scalable Processors for Microsoft Azure Stack
• Intel Xeon Scalableプロセッサー（「Purley」）で動くらしい。
• おなじチップセットで異なる構成取れたりしやすくなるのがメリットなのかな？（難しい）
