Virtual Machines

• Azure Availability Zones now available for the most comprehensive resiliency strategy
• General availability: Azure Availability Zones in select regions
• 一般提供開始：選択したリージョンの可用性ゾーン
• 可用性ゾーン（Availability Zones）がUS CentralとFrance CentralでGAです。（Blogのリンク先がわかりにくい）
• East US2、West Europe、Southeast AsiaはまだPreview。
• General availability: Azure zone-redundant snapshots and images for managed disks
• 一般提供開始：Azure Managed Disks 用のAzureゾーン冗長スナップショットとイメージ
• Managed Disksのゾーン冗長スナップショットとイメージがGAです。可用性ゾーン（AZ）対応リージョンで使えます。
• Ubuntu AdvantageがMarketplaceから入手できるようになったっぽい。

Azure Storage

• General availability: Zone-redundant storage
• AZが一部リージョンでGAということでAZ対応Storage（Zone Redundant Storage）も対応地域はGAかな。
• 6月1日以降はGA価格になるので注意。

SQL Database

• A flexible new way to purchase Azure SQL Database
• Preview: A flexible new way to purchase Azure SQL Database
• SQL DatabaseのElastic PoolとSingle Databaseに追加の購入モデルがでました（Preview）
• Managed Instanceで発表があったようにvCoreモデルでの購入も選べるようになったのと、Hybrid Benefitを使って最大30％節約できるとかなんとか。（手持ちのSQL Server Enterprise/Standard EditionのSA付ライセンス持ち込み）

• SQL Database: Long-term backup retention preview includes major updates
• Preview of long-term backup retention in SQL Database gets an update
• 長期間バックアップ保存（Preview）がUpdateされました。
• 全リージョン対応、バックアップポリシーのカスタマイズ度が増えた（頻度や期間など）、いらないバックアップの削除などなど。（GDPR関連気になる人はBlogの最後のほうを読みましょう）
• Public preview: Read scale-out support for Azure SQL Database
• Use read-only replicas to load balance read-only query workloads (preview)
• 読み取りスケールアウトがサポート（Preview）。読み取り専用レプリカを追加してワークロード分散したりできるらしい。分析とかに良いかもということで。

Virtual Network / ExpressRoute

• General availability: Application security groups in all Azure regions
• 全リージョンでApplication Security GroupsがGAです。
• General availability: Azure Network Watcher Connection Monitor in all public regions
• 全パブリックリージョンでNetwork WatcherのConnection MonitorがGAです。
• General availability: Global VNet Peering
• 一般提供開始：グローバル VNet Peering
• グローバルでVNET Peeringができるようになりました。GAした地域は上記リンク参照（日本まだ）
• Microsoft peering on ExpressRoute Standard SKU now available
• ExpressRouteでルートフィルターを使ったMicrosoftピアリングが使えるようになったようです。（ExpressRoute経由でサーキットの指定リージョン内のパブリックIPアドレスなSQL DatabaseやStorageなどのAzure PaaSにアクセスできます）
• 結果としてAzureパブリックピアリング設定はできなくなったようですね。

Service Bus

• New metrics for Queues and Topics emitted
• QueueとTopicsのエンティティサイズを取得するメトリックが追加されました。

Event Hubs

• Azure Event Hubs Geo-DR configurations, now enabled in all Azure regions
• 全リージョンでEvent Hubsの地理的DR構成が利用できるようになりました。
