Azure application Services

• Extending App Service to new frontiers
• App Serviceは新しいフロンティアへ。ということで Azure application ServicesがPreviewです。
• App Service Linuxへの投資 … .NET 6 Preview 4, Python 3.9サポート、強力なCI/CD、Free TLS（Managed Certificateの件）、JBoss EAPサポート、Isolated環境の向上、Node.js/Javaアプリのとって出しモニタリング（Application Insightsの件）などなど。
• Kubernetesクラスター上で動作するのと、Azure Arc対応でどこでも実行。Azure Arc enabled Kubernetesでも動くので大体どこでも動きそう。（現状そのうえでFunctionsやLogic Apps、他Event GridやAPIMも対応したのでできる範囲が格段に増えました）
• クラウドベンダーや拠点を選ばずKubernetesが動けばAzure Arc対応できるし柔軟性はよさそうですね（GitOpsしてたから構成管理もシンプル、1クラスターだけで動かすとメリット感じにくいけどクラスター数の規模が大きくなれば？という感じなのかな）

App Service

• App Service Managed Certificates now generally available

Azure Functions

• Durable FunctionsでPowerShellサポート。（Functions v3ランタイムのみ。あとPowerShell 7が対象）

• General availability: Logic Apps with new hosting options
• 新しいホスティングオプションがGA。新しいコンテナー化されたランタイム上で実行（＝Functionsと同じランタイム、なのでホスティング環境もより柔軟に）
• FunctionsやApp Service、Kubernetes、Dockerほか任意のクラウドで実行可能に。
• 複数のワークフローを単一Logic Appsにデプロイ、CI/CDの簡素化なども可能に。
• Private Endpoint対応（VNETアクセス、Deployment SlotなどEnterprise機能が有効に）

• LinuxエミュレーターがPreviewです。Linux/macOSで開発目的なCosmos DBエミュレーターをローカルで。今のところCore （SQL）APIだけ。

• Announced at Build: new capabilities for data security and workload optimization
• Azure Cosmos DB role-based access control (RBAC) now in general availability
• RBACがGAです。
• Partial document update for Azure Cosmos DB in private preview
• ドキュメントの部分更新がPreviewできました。更新時に完全なドキュメントが不要に（データ量が減る＝遅延が減ってRUも減る）。
• 競合も自動に透過的に解決。
• ただしPrivate Previewなのでサインアップ必要。

SQL Database

• Azure SQL Database ledger available in public preview
• LedgerがPreviewです。台帳？
• Announcing Azure SQL Database ledger
• Blockchainな元帳と同じですね。改ざんしにくいデータベース元帳を提供という感じですかね。
• 更新可能な元帳テーブルと追加専用元帳テーブルが提供。

Azure Synapse Analytics

• Apache Spark 3.0 support in Azure Synapse Analytics
• Synapse AnalyticsでApache Spark 3.0ランタイムがサポートです。ほかにもパフォーマンスの向上、Spark 3に付随する拡張機能を強化するために移植されたりしてるらしい。あとはAdaptive Query Execution（AQE）とか動的パーティションプルーニングとかANSI SQLということでANSI互換性改善、Pandasサポート、アクセラレータ対応のスケジューリング、Delta Lakeなど盛りだくさんですね。
• NVIDIA GPU Acceleration for Apache Spark™ in Azure Synapse Analytics
• Synapse Analytics内でApache Spark向けNVIDIA GPU Acceleration機能がPrivate Preview開始だそうです。
• Azure Synapse Link for DataverseがPreview（via BoN）

• API ManagementでWebSocket APIがサポートです（Preview）。

Azure Media Services

• New name and a wealth of new capabilities in Video Indexer (now AVA for Media)
• Video IndexerがAzure Video Analyzer for Media (AVA for Media)に変わります。
• 名前以外の変更点はクローズドキャプション（字幕）の強化＋音声効果の検出（Preview）。銃声や爆発、犬の鳴き声など音声以外の音声効果を検出する機能ですね。
• ビデオ内で立ってる人を検出して経路を追跡したりする機能（Preview）とか、名前付きエンティティの改善、顔認識パイプラインの改善、使える地域の拡大、音声文字変換で新しい言語サポートとか、あとポータルでテーマが。

• Speech StudioのUX向上、Text-to-Speech関連は上述、クロスリンガル対応で同じ音声で複数言語サポートが増えたり。Speech-to-Textでの新しい言語サポートや継続的な言語検出で複数言語サポート（Preview）などが増えました。
• 発音評価（Pronunciation assessment）サポート、カスタムキーワード対応（GA）、Speech SDK更新などなど。
• General availability: Azure Cognitive Services Text Analytics for Health
• Text Analytics for HealthがGA。ゲノミクス関連のカテゴリが強化、コンディショナリティの検出、関連性の検出（母親に癌の病歴ありとか）なども追加で。
• Public preview: Azure Cognitive Services Text Analytics Adds Question Answering Feature
• Text Analyticsで質疑応答機能が追加（Preview）。検索結果として返されたドキュメントなど特定のテキストの一部から質問に関連する回答を見つけようとしたりする感じらしい。QnAMaker知らなくてもAPIとして使えるという話。
• General availability: Azure Cognitive Services Translator Document Translation feature

Azure Cognitive Search

• Azure Cognitive Search indexers allow you to ingest data from many new data sources
• 新しいIndexerが追加（Preview）。Amazon Redshift、Cosmos DB Gremlin API、Elasticsearch、PostgreSQL、Salesforceオブジェクト、SharePoint Online、Smartsheet、Snowflakeなど。Data Lake Storage Gen 2のIndexerはGAになりました。
• データソースからPullする機能なPower Queryの一部データコネクタでより多くのデータをPullできるように。

Azure Bot Service / Bot Framework

• Enterprise Assistant, Enterprise Assistant Bot Template, Conversational AI Best Practices, Conversational User Experience Guide, CUX Guide
• Microsoft Conversation AIの一環としてBot Framework Composer Enterprise Assistant Bot Templateがでました。
• TeamsやWebチャットがすぐに使えるようにデザインされてたり、Core Assistant Bot Template機能に2つのビルド済みスキル（Enterprise Calender Bot、Enterprise People Bot）が含まれてます。

Azure Machine Learning

• Azure Machine Learning public preview announcement //Build, May 2021
• 新しいCLIとREST APIがPreview。
• 機械学習アセットの管理、トレーニングジョブの実行、推論用エンドポイントの展開やコントロールプレーン操作などなど。
• Azure Machine Learning Managed Online and Batch Endpoints now in public preview //Build 2021.
• Managed Online EndpointとBatch EndpointがPreview。
• Managed Online Endpointはモデルの運用をするための機能が提供。レイテンシやスループット、リソースの使用率やSLA Metrics、Managed Identitiesやログ分析との統合、モデルのバージョンの安全な展開などなど。
• Batch Endpointのほうは大規模データのバッチスコアリングやノーコードなMLFlowなども。
• Azure Machine Learning general availability announcements //Build, May 2021

Azure Communication Services

• Azure Communication Services Calling SDK for Windows Apps in public preview
• 音声・ビデオ通話機能をWindowsアプリ（UWP）で実装するSDKがPreview。デスクトップ、Xbox、MRヘッドセット、HoloLens、IoTデバイスなどなど。
• Azure Communication Services UI Library available in public preview
• UIライブラリーがPreview。

• 前回も書いてた気がするApplication Insightsを使ってApp Service上のJavaアプリの監視を簡単に。（Preview）
• Public preview: Save and share log analytics queries with new query packs in Azure Monitor
• Log Analyticsのクエリを保存・共有したりするクエリパックがPreview。ARMオブジェクトなのでAzure Policy制御下にしたりできるっぽい。
• Public preview: Export Azure Monitor logs to multiple destinations
• Azure Monitorログを複数宛先にエクスポートできる機能が10個のルールを作れるようになりました。またエクスポートするテーブルなども柔軟に指定可能に。
• 転送のレート制限にひっかかる場合は例えば対象を分割して別のところに転送したりとかしやすくなった感じです。
• Public preview: Log Analytics workspace insights from Azure Monitor
• 監視対象のリソースからログ・パフォーマンスデータを収集・整理するAzure Monitor Logs（Log Analytics）ですがLog Analytics Workspace InsightsがPreview。Workspaceの使用状況やパフォーマンス、ヘルス状態など包括的なビューの提供などがされます。
• たとえば上位テーブルとかワークスペースに投げてくるリソース上位どれとかどれぐらい取り込み時間かかるかとかなどの情報が得られるようになります。

Azure Security Center

• Azure Defender expands SQL protection to open-source relational databases

Azure Sentinel

• Continuous Access Evaluation (CAE)がMicrosoft Graph含まれました（Preview）。CAEサポートするMicrosoft Graph APIを使うとトークンの有効期間、更新が最適化できます。（通常60分の期限の代わりにCAEでリアルタイムで再評価、デバイスの紛失やパスワード変更、ユーザー無効化などイベントに応じて保護されたリソースへのアクセスを保護できます）

• Azure AD Access Reviewを使ってディレクトリロールに割り当てられたService PrincipalとApp、Azure Subscriptionのロールを定期的にレビューできます。
