  • クラスタ化列ストアインデックスでStringとバイナリーがサポートされました。（Public Preview）
• New T-SQL string functions in Azure SQL Database
  • T-SQLの文字列操作関数が増えました。STRING_AGG()やTRIM()、TRANSLATE()、CONCAT_WS()など。
• Azure SQL Database is increasing read and write performance
  • 読み取り・書き込みの性能が向上したようです。メールによるとPremiumだと全体的に読み取り・ログ書き込みが100%増加、Basic/Standardもログ書き込みリソースが100%増加したらしいです。

  • Live Streamingに関連するチャンネルの状態などを表示するダッシュボードなWebアプリがGitHubに公開されました。

Service Fabric

• OS patching for VMs running Service fabric
  • 今のService FabricのOS（VMSS）には自動OSパッチ適用などはサポートされてないので、適用するためのスクリプトなどを使いましょう。Q1ぐらいにはパッチオーケストレーションサービスが、Q2ぐらいにはイメージベースの自動パッチ適用機能が提供されるっぽいです。

HDInsight

• HDInsight tools for IntelliJ & Eclipse December Updates
  • Spark 2.0サポートやIntelliJでローカル実行サポートなど

Regions / Certification / Billing

• Microsoft Azure Achieves HITRUST CSF Certification
• オーストラリアのリージョン2つがだれでも使えるようになりました。（前は制限されてました）
