App Service

• PHP minor version update for September 2018
• 先週も書いた気がする。

• 9月に展開されるらしい。
• Windows Containers on Azure App Service Public Preview
• Announcing the public preview of Windows Container Support in Azure App Service
• App Service Windows Container in preview
• Private PreviewだったWindows Containers on App ServiceがPublic Previewになりました。
• Windows Container向けに新しいDv3ベースのSKUもでました。（Premium Container Tier）

• microsoft/iis:windowsservercore-ltsc2016, latestなど特定のイメージは起動が早いらしい（Blog参照）

• Public Previewということで使える機能やリージョンはまだ少ないですがこれで気兼ねなくWindowsコンテナーも動かせますね。

Virtual Machines

• Managed Disks migration now available in the Azure Portal
• ポータル上でManaged Disks（管理ディスク）への移行が簡単に行えるようになりました。（Posh/CLI不要）
• General availability of instance size flexibility for Azure Reserved Virtual Machine Instances
• （RIが適用された）同じVMグループ内の別サイズでもReserved Instancesの割引率が適用されるようなAzure Reserved Virtual Machine Instancesがでたようです。（ややこしい）

Service Fabric

• OS Update Required on Windows Clusters
• WindowsクラスターでOSアップデートが必要かもぽいです。（7月のWindows Updateに含まれるHotfixが原因かな）

SQL Database

• Announcing general availability of Azure SQL Database reserved capacity
• Reserved CapacityがGAです。唐突ですね。Reserved Instancesみたいな感じで使用する容量を予約することでコストを抑えられるようです。
• vCoreモデルでHybrid Benefitと併用すると最大80％コスト削減できるとかなんとか。
• Save up to 80 percent with reserved capacity and Azure hybrid benefit

SQL Data Warehouse

• Automatic intelligent insights to optimize performance with SQL Data Warehouse
• Automatic recommendations help optimize performance with SQL Data Warehouse
• パフォーマンスに関する推奨事項を自動的に提示してくれるようになりました。（Gen2のみみたいです）
• Azure Advisorと統合というか連携している様子。

Azure Data Factory

• Azure Data Factory/Azure Cosmos DB connector now supports UPSERT
• Cosmos DB用のコネクターでUpsertがサポートされました。

Azure API Management

• Azure API Management update August 3
• 同一スコープ内で複数の証明書認証ポリシーがサポートされました。
• Azureポータル上でAPIMのサブスクリプションの表示や管理ができるようになりました。
• Open API（Swagger）エディタがMonacoになりました。

Azure Active Directory

• Azure AD Connect configuration for PingFederate is now generally available
• Azure AD ConnectのPingFederateとの連携機能がGAです。
• Combined registration for Azure AD MFA and Self Service Password Reset plus two other cool updates now in public preview!
• 今までMFAとSSPR（セルフパスワードリセット）それぞれでセキュリティ情報を登録しないといけない感じだったのが（同じ電話番号でも）1回で済むようになったようです。

Azure Security Center

• Enhance your DevSecOps practices with Azure Security Center’s newest playbooks
• DevOpsSecで使える便利なPlaybookがいくつか追加されました。

Enterprise Mobility + Security

• Automatic user provisioning and deprovisioning now available for more apps!
