App Service

• OpenID Connect support for Azure App Service and Azure Functions (in preview)
• AuthN/AuthZ（EasyAuth）にOpenID Connectプロバイダーを追加できるようになりました（Preview）。
• OpenID Connectプロバイダーを使用してログインするようにApp ServiceまたはAzure Functionsアプリを構成します（プレビュー）
• ただ今時点でかなりのPreviewクオリティっぽいので注意しましょう。

Azure Functions

• Azure Functions で PowerShell 7.0 が使用できるようになりました
• Java 11 for Azure Functions is now available in preview
• Java 11サポートがPreview。

Azure Kubernetes Service （AKS）

• Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) node image upgrade is now available
• ノードのイメージアップグレード機能がGA。K8sのアップグレードをしなくてもコンテナランタイム・OS更新などノードレベルのコンポーネントが更新できるようになりました。
• AKS-managed Azure Active Directory support is now generally available
• AKS管理なAzure ADサポートがGA。クライアントアプリ登録したりテナント所有者に特権アクセスを要求する必要がなくなったようす。
• Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) now supports bring-your-own control plane managed identity
• コントロールプレーンのManaged Identitiesで独自ID（システムじゃなくてユーザーID）をサポート。
• Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) support for containerd runtime is in preview
• containerdランタイムを使ったノードプール作成がサポート（Preview）。
• Secure Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) pods with Azure Policy (in preview)
• Azure PolicyでPod保護がPreview。ポリシー違反してるPod要求を拒否したり監査したりできます。

Service Fabric

• Azure Service Fabric 7.1 Second Refresh Release

Virtual Machines

• Azure 共有ディスクの一般提供開始と Azure Disk Storage の新しい機能強化を発表
• Shared DisksがGA。
• Standard SSDやStandard HDDを使ったシングルなVMもSLAの対象になりました。（今までは単一インスタンスのVMのSLAはPremium SSD/Ultra Disksの場合のみ）
• Azure Disk StorageでSASとURIを使った他リージョンへのデータエクスポート（主にDR用）やSAS URIを使ってVHDの直接アップロードなど従来の機能に加えてPrivate Linkとも統合（Preview）。
• Bust機能もあるよ。さらにPrivate Previewだけどベースラインパフォーマンスレベルを設定すると高パフォーマンスが必要になった時に高いレベルにあげて終わったら戻す(一時的にP10のベースラインからP50にあげて戻す）みたいなことができるようになりました。
• Shared disks in Azure Disk Storage are now available
• Performance tiers for Azure Disk Storage are in limited preview
• Azure Disk Storage with Azure Private Link integration is in preview
• VM Image BuilderがGAみたいなの見かけたけど404になってた。

SQL Database

• Azure SQL Managed Instance management pack is now generally available
• SQL Managed Instance用のSCOMのManagement PackがGA。
• Machine Learning services on Azure SQL Managed Instance is in limited preview
• Limited PreviewですがManaged InstanceでML Serviceがサポート。

Azure Database

• One- and three- year reserved capacity for Azure DB for PostgreSQL-Hyperscale (Citus)
• Database for PostgreSQLのHyperscaleで1年、3年の予約容量が利用可能に。

HDInsight

• Updates to Azure HDInsight
• Spark、Hadoop、KafkaなどApache AnalyticsプロジェクトのディストリビューションをHDInsightがサポート。今後数か月で管理エクスペリエンスや予約済みインスタンスの価格設定、低優先度VM、オートスケールなどなどがサポートされた次世代HDInsightがリリースされるらしい。

Azure Data Factory

• Azure Data Factory adds support for XML format
• CopyアクティビティとマッピングデータフローでXMLフォーマットなファイルをサポート。
• Azure Data Factory Managed Virtual Network
• Data Factory Managed Virtual NetworkがPreview。
• Data Factory SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) migration accelerators are now generally available
• Data Factory SSIS（SQL Server Integration Services）移行アクセラレーターがGA。
• SSISのジョブをData Factoryのパイプラインやアクティビティ、トリガーに変換いｓたりAzure SSIS統合ランタイムパッケージとして提供したりいろいろ。Azure Monitorとの統合もあり。

Virtual Network

• Now install network virtual appliances directly into an Azure Virtual WAN hub
• SD-WAN接続のオプションとしてBarracudaのネットワーク仮想アプライアンスを直接Azure Virtual WAN Hubにインストールできるようになりました。（Preview）
• Azure Virtual WAN で SD-WAN 仮想アプライアンスをネイティブに実行する
• ブランチサイト接続で最大40Gbpsの集約スループットがサポート。
• Azure MonitorでHealthメトリックサポート。
• Azure FirewallによるセキュアなHubをサポート。

Application Gateway

• Azure Application Gateway—URL rewrite and wildcard listener are now in preview
• リクエストのURLホスト名やパス、クエリ文字列などのRewrite、リスナーでワイルドカードなホスト名の使用がサポートされるようになりました。（Preview）

Azure API Management

• Azure API Management update—July 2020
• 信頼できるMicrosoftサービスとしてStorageアカウントにポリシー内からアクセスできるようになりました。（サンプル）
• Consumptionが5リージョン追加。日本にも早くほしい。
• ConsumptionでEvent HubsとCapacityメトリック以外のメトリックをAzure Monitorに送信できるようになりました。あと別Azure サブスクリプションやリソースグループに移動可になりました。

Azure Red Hat OpenShift

• Azure Red Hat OpenShift is now ISO 27001 certified
• Azure Red Hat OpenShift on OpenShift 4.4 now available
• OpenShift 4.4がでました。

Azure Monitor

• Azure Monitor for Containers now supports recommended alerts
• Azure Monitor for Containersに推奨アラートが含まれるようになりました。
• Azure Monitor Logs connector is now generally available
• Azure Monitor Logs ConnectorがGA。古いAzure Monitor Logs(Preview)とAzure Application Insightsもサポート。
• ログを他のサービス（Logic AppsやPower Automate）に連携させられる感じ。
• Azure Monitor for SAP Solutions is now available in preview

Azure IoT

• Microsoft Azure IoT Connector for FHIR now in preview
• FHIR向けにAzure IoT Connector for FHIRがでました（Preview）。
• デバイスとFHIRリソースへのデータ変換（心拍数とか血糖値とかいろいろ）、リアルタイムデータ処理、RBAC、データフローの監査ログ、ISOなどの認定などを提供。
• Azur IoT HubやIoT Central、Stream Analyticsといったサービスを接続してAzure API for FHIRからつなぐためのコネクターといった感じでしょうか。

Azure Sphere

• Azure Sphere OS update 20.07 is available for compatibility testing

Azure Time Series Insights

• Azure Time Series Insights Gen2: Leading the next generation of industrial IoT analytics platforms
• Azure Time Series Insights Gen2 is now generally available
• 従量課金なAzure Time Series Insights Gen2がGAです。Web UI含めインフラ側も結構大きく更新されてますね。
• Managed WarmとColdなデータストアなど、マルチレイヤーなストレージを提供。大量の過去データのアーカイブと分析用（Cold）＋短期のインタラクティブな分析用（Managed Warm）とかかな。コールドストアはData Lake Storage Gen2を持ち込みできる。
• 分析ツールとしてTime Series Insights Gen2 Explorerも提供。
